5. Bali Employment Visa
- If you wish to work in Bali, you will have to apply for a work permit. The company in which you want to work will have to sponsor you.
- The company should be eligible to employ a foreigner by obtaining an IMTA permit.
- The company will apply for a Temporary Stay Permit Card or a KITAS (Kartu Izin Tinggal Sementara).
- The KITAS is valid for a minimum of 6 months and a maximum of 1 year & will have to be renewed.
- Employees who are in a managerial position will be granted a 1-year work permit and they can extend that permit for up to 5 years.
Requirements for KITAS/Working Permit:
- A valid passport (with a minimum of 18 months’ validity).
- Copy of your resume signed and stamped by the Director of the company.
- Copy of your degree certificate signed and stamped by the Director of the company.
- Minimum 5 years work certificate.
- A copy of your health insurance.
- A couple of passport photographs with a red background.
