3. MACAU STUDENT VISA:

    • For students who see a better prospect of education in Macau, they can apply for the Macau student visa which is issued by The Macau Immigration Department.
    • Once the form is filled up, they may request a declaration for Immigration Department.
    • It will be issued specifying the total duration of the program within 3 business days.
    • The applicant must submit the form with the necessary documents to the immigration department.
    • After processing the application, the applicant will be granted a receipt. They can use this receipt to enter Macau until the student visa is granted.
    • Note that you are not eligible to work once you are granted the student visa.

4. MACAU TRANSIT VISA:

    • Those who wish to transit through Macau to a third country will be issued a Transit visa.
    • It is generally granted up to 3 days for convenience of travel.

    • It is better if you can find an employer before you arrive in Macau. But if that is not possible, you can enter Macau as a visitor and begin looking for employment.
    • Once you find a job, you can then apply for a work permit.

  • A couple of passport size photographs.
  • A valid passport (minimum 6 months validity).
  • A copy of your Birth Certificate.
  • Criminal record from your parent country.
  • Employment contract which details all necessary information about your work, title, salary, etc.
  • Valid documents from the company in Macau indicating lack of qualified personnel.
  • Proof of educational qualification like a diploma, degree certificates.
  • Business registration and license of your employer.
  • Job description.
  • If you have dependents travelling with you, then you must provide the necessary proof of relationship.

The processing time to get your application approved will take around 3 to 6 months. Meanwhile, you can apply for a temporary residence permit. Make an appointment at the Macau Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM). 

You will have to attend an interview and go through a screening process that will check your eligibility for temporary residence.

MACAU VISA FEES

As mentioned before, there are no Macau visa fees for Indian passports if the citizen plans to stay for less than 30 days. If you want to extend your stay, the fee is as follows:

  • For an Individual – MOP 100 (Around Rs. 877/-)
  • For children below 12 years – MOP 50 (Around Rs. 438/-)
  • For the family – MOP 200 (Around Rs. 1753/-)
  • For the group – MOP 50 per person (Around Rs. 438/-). Note that the group must contain at least 10 members organized by a single travel manager. The manager should be able to present the collective travel document.

The Documents required for Bhutan Visa for Indians

The countries of India and Bhutan had signed an agreement way back in 1949, thus eliminating the need for applying for Bhutan Visa. Indians can obtain Bhutan visa on arrival, but there are certain documents which all Indians need to carry and show before the Immigration office of Bhutan. 

The documents are:

  1. Your Indian passport which is valid for six months from the date of arrival at Bhutan
  2. Your voter card, issued by the Indian Election Commission, as an identity proof

As per the visa requirements for Bhutan, the Immigration office will grant a 7 day Bhutan visa applicable for visiting Paro, Thimpu, and Phuentsholing. If you are travelling to other destinations in Bhutan, in addition to these three places, then you need to extend your Bhutan permit from Thimpu. Please note: The Immigration office is open only on the weekdays from morning 9:30 AM IST till evening at 5:30 PM IST. Hence it is advisable to plan your itinerary accordingly. Indian tourists can not obtain their Bhutan visa on weekends or Bhutan holidays.


You must carry your travel tickets, accommodation and booking details, photographs positively to avoid any inconvenience to receive the Bhutan visa. Newly or young married couples are advised to carry the marriage certificate as proof. The Immigration Officers may ask for it as evidence.

On January 26, 2017, the Tourism Council of Bhutan, the Home and Cultural Affairs Ministry of Bhutan and the Immigration Department of Bhutan launched the Online regional permit system. Through this system, Indians can apply for Bhutan permit online. This process will assist Indians to seamlessly obtain their Bhutan visa, well before their arrival in Bhutan.

Processing time for Bhutan permit

Once you reach the Immigration office, you will notice that there are three counters. One for submitting the application form, the next is for the biometric and the third is to collect the permit. The entire process is completed in approximately 30 minutes. 5. Bali Employment Visa

  • The company should be eligible to employ a foreigner by obtaining an IMTA permit.
  • The company will apply for a Temporary Stay Permit Card or a KITAS (Kartu Izin Tinggal Sementara).
  • The KITAS is valid for a minimum of 6 months and a maximum of 1 year & will have to be renewed.
